The Mitchell Research Center is located on the second floor of the Mitchell Building at 22 North Manning Street in Hillsdale. The purpose of the MRC is to "make collected and donated research records and materials relative to genealogical, historical and archival subjects available; to provide needed or requested assistance to the public; and to continue doing needed indexing and compiling of research material.

City of Hillsdale Parks
The City of Hillsdale has over 98 acres of park land: including baseball diamonds, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, play grounds, 4.5 miles of walking/biking trails and a public beach with full water sports at Baw Beese Lake.

City of Hillsdale Recreation Department
The City of Hillsdale Recreation Department administers most of the organized sports programs in the area, including baseball, volleyball, basketball, and football in both adult and youth categories. Arts
Hillsdale College’s Sage Center for the Arts houses a performance hall, an art exhibit room, music facilities, and provides a well-regarded concert series. The active Sauk Community Theatre and the Hillsdale Arts Chorale allow residents to express their performance and musical talents.
