December 3-4, 2016  Christmas at the Poorhouse  180 N. Wolcott St., Hillsdale, MI   This is a wonderful journey into Christmas past. Visit the Poorhouse on Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00am-7:00pm and on Sunday, December 4th from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Santa will visit the General Store on Sunday from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
December 5 & 6, 2016  Staged Reading of Alison’s House, Susan Glaspell  81 E. College St. Hillsdale, MI  December 5 & 6, 2016 at 8:00pm join Alison’s House which is the work of one of the pioneering American dramatists of the early 20th century: Susan Glaspell. This performance of Alison’s House will be presented in The Hames Room in The Sage Center for the Arts as a staged reading, and marks the beginning of a new annual series where the Tower Players will present neglected classics and new works in a workshop environment.

December 10, 2016  MRC: Holiday Open House  22 N. Manning St. Hillsdale, MI   Join the fun on Saturday, December 10, 2016, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Mitchell Research Center (22 N. Manning St) for an Open House and Holiday Celebration! Tour the 1860s home of Charles T. Mitchell and Harriett Wing Mitchell that they willed to the City of Hillsdale over 100 years ago. Enjoy historic displays, music and refreshments by the Friends of the Mitchell Research Center.
December 10, 2016  Winter Lights Festival  1620 Barber Dr. Hillsdale, MI   On Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm stop by the Barber House Children's Garden which will be illuminated by thousands of lights, creating a winter wonderland. Hot chocolate inside for warming up and you can make an ornament to take home.
December 12, 2016  Project Rising Tide: Branding Meeting  97 N. Broad St. Hillsdale, MI   The public is encouraged to attend the Public meeting on Monday, December 12th at 5:30pm at City Hall! The City of Hillsdale has the unique opportunity to go through a professional Branding process with the firm Arnett Muldrow & Associates and we invite and encourage your input. This is a part of the Project Rising Tide service that aims to support and encourage economic development in those communities participating in the project.
January 21, 2017  Broadway's Next H!t Musical  Markel Auditorium, 81 E. College St., Hillsdale, MI  Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 8:00pm The hysterical Broadway’s Next H!T Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show. Master improvisers gather made up, hit song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter.
