Are cemetery lots available for purchase how much are they and what fees apply?
Yes, lots are available at both city owned cemeteries - Oak Grove and Lakeview. The cost for each grave is $350.00 for residents (those who reside within the City of Hillsdale) and $600 for non residents. Applicable fees are as follows;

Opening & Closing Charges
Adult (65" or greater): $400.00
Child (36" to 64"): $325.00
Infant: $200.00
Cremations: $225.00
All Saturday Cremations: $300.00
All Saturday burials: $450.00
All Sunday burials: $500.00

Foundation Charges
Installation of monument foundations $0.35 per square inch

Can we plant trees at or near the graves we own?
No, this is against cemetery rules due to the problems with roots that hamper grave digging.

Can we build stone gardens or flower boxes?
Yes, however, there are restrictions as to where and how large an area can be placed in.
