City Parks
The City of Hillsdale has acres of park and preserve land to enjoy. As well as miles of trails and riverway to traverse.

Sam Lopresto park
Includes a multi-purpose ball field with benches, parking facilties
Mrs. Stock's park
The closest to the downtown area. Stroll along the St. Joe river or go for a picnic.
Waterworks park
One of three parks on the north shore of Baw Beese Lake. There is a boat launch, fishing area, playground equipment, picnic tables & grills, restroom & parking facilities.
Kee Koose Park
Located on Logan street and has baseball diamonds with bleachers & parking,and playground equipment.
Owen Memorial park
Located on the north shore of Lake Baw Beese. Owen Park offers 25 acres of picnicing and playground area, and a frisbee golf course. Pavillions are available for rent. Contact Michelle Loren, Director at 517-437-6457.
Cold Springs park
A small neighborhood park on Westwood St. Picnic tables, grills, playground equipment, and fishing is available.
Orville Meyer Parkway
Located along Steamburg Rd., Orville Meyer Parkway is a large open area along the St. Joe river for picnicing.

Baw Beese Trail
Located along the north shore of Lake Baw Beese and is connected to our park system on the east side of town. Soon it will meander along the St. Joe river and connect with the Jonesville bike path as part of the North Country Trail system.
Sandy Beach
Host of the annual Sandy Beach Blowout part of the Midwest Watercross Tour on Lake Baw Beese. The park includes 25 acres of beach, marina, sand volleyball court, playground & picnic equipment.
Wildlife Preserve
120 acres of wetlands around the St. Joe river and Beebe creek. The preserve will be developed for nature trails and canoeing.
Slayton Arboretum
Privately owned by Hillsdale College, but open to the public to enjoy. Nature trails, picnic areas, period stonework and many identified species of plant life.
