Sealed Bids will be received by Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities (BPU) at the City of Hillsdale Offices, 97 N.
Broad Street, Hillsdale, Michigan 49242, up to 2:00 p.m., prevailing local time, on February 10, 2026, and then
publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of Contract 200-12761-25002.
The Work includes constructing an inverted siphon river crossing, new sanitary sewer, replacement force main,
and replacement water main. Bids shall be on unit cost basis.
The Drawings and Project Manual under which the Work is to be done are on file and may be examined at the
BPU office at 45 Monroe Street, Hillsdale, MI 49242; at Construction Association of Michigan in Bloomfield
Hills, Michigan; at McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge in Detroit and Lansing, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio; at
Builders Exchange of Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Saginaw, Michigan; and at the office of the ENGINEER, Tetra
Tech, Inc., 1136 Oak Valley Drive, Suite 100, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48108.
Bidding Documents may be obtained on January 9, 2026 in electronic copy. Direct the request for documents, to
the ENGINEER at 1136 Oak Valley Drive, Suite 100, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 (734) 213-4031 or
mike.nolta@tetratech.com. The document holder must supply the telephone and email address along with street
address of the individual or firm to whom addenda (if any) can be directed for both electronic and hard copies.
A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or Bid Bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%)
of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
The right is reserved by OWNER to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids.
