NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – PLANNING COMMISSION
A special conditional use request has been filed by Kristin Seager, Director of Studio 55 School of Dance, to conduct a fine arts operation at 151 S West St (006-327-479-29). The property is zoned RD-1 (One-Family and Two-Family Residential).
Per Sec. 36-414 of the Hillsdale Code of Ordinances, the proposed use is subject to special conditions and requires Planning Commission approval.
The Hillsdale City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the request for the special conditional use on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of Hillsdale City Hall, 97 N Broad St, Hillsdale, MI 49242.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Hillsdale City Planning Commission has proposed rezoning 120 S Broad St (006-426-356-03) from R-1 (One-Family Residential) to B-1 (Local Business).
