Council - Public Hearing

Take notice that certain improvements have been deemed necessary by the Hillsdale City Council, and that partial cost will be borne by special assessment. On file with the City Clerk’s office for public inspection are the plans and specifications, costs of improvements and proposed assessments for the Arch Ave., Industrial and Proctor Dr. Special Assessment District (SAD #2026-01). The total estimated cost of the project is $1,326,500.

On file with the City Clerk’s office for public inspection are the plans and specifications, costs of improvements and proposed assessments for the South Street Special Assessment District (SAD #2026-02). The total estimated cost of the project is $775,000.

Take notice that certain improvements have been deemed necessary by the Hillsdale City Council, and that partial cost will be borne by special assessment. On file with the City Clerk’s office for public inspection are the plans and specifications, costs of improvements and proposed assessments for the Oak Street Special Assessment District (SAD #2026-03A). The total estimated cost of the project is $1,287,300.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Hillsdale will hold a public hearing during their regularly scheduled meeting in the Council Chambers at City Hall 97 N. Broad Street, Hillsdale, MI on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to review said assessment, at which time and place, opportunity will be given to all persons interested to be heard.
