Owen Memorial Park

Owen Memorial Park is the second park of the Baw Beese Park system along Waterworks Drive. Owen Memorial offers a beautiful view of Baw Beese Lake. Two pavilions are available for rent through Hillsdale Recreation. Amenities include power and water at both. Lake access for boating and fishing, easy access to the Baw Beese Trail, disc golf, and play areas will make your visit enjoyable for all.
Owen Memorial Park is also host to several fundraisers and events. Molly's Glitter Run has become a premier event at Owen Memorial Park. This Annual 5K run hosts nearly 1,000 runners and many spectators coordinated by Art and Kelly McNew in memory of their young daughter, Molly McNew. This is event is fun, eventful, colorful,and inspiring. Indiana Outboard Racing Association hold two races each year, free to the public. Racers come from across the country to participate in national outboard racing competition. This family of boat racers welcomes everyone to stop by and enjoy this sport.
