Use and Occupancy Permits

Use and Occupancy Permits are required for any occupied structure in the City of Hillsdale under the Hillsdale Municipal Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6, Article II. Application must be made to the Code Enforcement office and an approved inspection must be completed under the Property Maintenance Code prior to issuance of the permit. Permits are valid until there is a change of occupants that occurs two years or more following the issuance of the permit. Information regarding rights of tenants and landlords.
